For more than 110 years, the Princeton-Blairstown Center has provided adventure-based, experiential education to vulnerable youth. One of PBC's key values is SUSTAINABILITY, rooted in the belief that connecting deeply with others and the natural environment promotes a deeper sense of responsibility to oneself, one's community, and the spaces all of us occupy.

Toward this end, the Center offers Environmental Education Programs, in which students have an opportunity to explore 264 pristine acres that include a range of distinctive ecosystems and natural elements. This outdoor laboratory makes the Center's S.T.E.A.M. programs unique among social-emotional learning providers, with hands-on opportunities to learn more about local ecology through the multitude of outdoor venues on Campus.

(credit: https://www.flickr.com/photos/asiandevelopmentbank/19144738993) . Seventeen countries -- home to 25% of the global population -- are facing "extremely high" water stress, according to the The World Resources Institute, a research non-profit.

"Today, humanity needs your service more than ever.  Of the challenges facing our world, today, none are more urgent or all-encompassing than those pertaining to the environment. We confront intersecting crises relating to climate, water, food and biodiversity.  The signs are all around us this year. . . as many as 1 million species [are threatened with] with extinction."
